Almost two years after the last update, the release of the Sendmail 8.17.2 SMTP server has been released. In addition to fixing bugs, the new version has improved support for email addresses with symbols of national alphabets (EAI, Email Address Internationalization), added support for new versions of macOS, improved performance of DANE (DNS-based Authentication of Named Entities) checks, to prevent performance sagging, the MaxMimeHeaderLength parameter set to 2048/1024 by default.
