Borderlands Remastered Coming Next Week

Ten years after its release, the first Borderlands will be upgraded to a Game of the Year Edition. The update will be free for owners of a copy of the game on PC; owners of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will also be able to join the classic. The updated version will be released on April 3.

The developers will not just transfer the old shooter to current platforms, but will also offer several innovations. The project will feature a mini-map in the spirit of Borderlands 2, which will allow you to turn it on and off at any time, your inventory will be improved, and some items will be picked up from the ground automatically, including ammo and means for restoring health.

There will also be big changes to the final boss. They promise to make the battle with him much more “exciting” - the creators do not go into details, but the main villain will not only have an increase in the number of “lives” and will increase the damage from his weapons.
