Microids has announced that a remake of the action-platformer Toki will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the second quarter of 2019.
Toki is a cult action platform game released on arcade machines in 1989. In December 2018, Microids released its remake on the Nintendo Switch. The version featured a completely remastered art and a re-recorded orchestral soundtrack. In addition to this, Toki on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will receive a speedrun mode, a quick save system and five graphic filters.
According to the plot of Toki, the warrior of the same name lived in the jungle with his beloved Miho. Appearing out of nowhere, the terrible voodoo sorcerer Vukimedlo and the disgusting demon Bashtar kidnap the girl, and Toki, unfortunately for her friend, is turned into a hairy monkey. But this will not prevent him from overcoming all the dangers in order to save his beloved.
