Acer has announced two laptops with Advanced Micro Devices' second generation Ryzen mobile processors and Radeon Vega graphics, the Nitro 5 and Swift 3.

The Nitro 5 gaming laptop is powered by a 7nd Gen Ryzen 3750 2H Quad-Core 2,3GHz processor with Radeon RX 560X graphics. The diagonal of the IPS display with Full HD resolution is 15,6 inches. The ratio of the screen area to the body surface is 80%.

Connectivity options include a Gigabit Wi-Fi 5 module with 2Γ—2 MU-MIMO technology, as well as a range of ports including HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C 3.1 Gen 1 (up to 5Gbps).

The Nitro 5 effectively cools down during extended gaming sessions with two fans plus support for Acer CoolBoost technology, which allows you to increase fan speed by 10%, and improve CPU and GPU cooling by 9% compared to running in automatic mode.

The Swift 3 laptop uses AMD processors up to the 7nd Gen Ryzen 3700 2U quad-core chip with Radeon Vega graphics with optional Radeon 540X discrete graphics for more demanding tasks such as video editing or casual gaming.

Swift 3 is equipped with a 14-inch display that opens 180 degrees. The thickness of the body of the device, made of aluminum, is 18 mm, weight - 1,45 kg.

The Taiwanese company announced that it will showcase new products at the upcoming Computex 2019, which will be held in Taipei from May 28 to June 2, 2019.
