The Outer Worlds is a role-playing shooter from the creators of Fallout: New Vegas. Despite the fact that Obsidian Entertainment is part of Xbox Game Studios, the game was released on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and will soon appear on Nintendo Switch. It's fair to mention that The Outer Worlds is published by Private Division, aka Take-Two Interactive.

“We want to take this opportunity to thank the incredible team behind The Outer Worlds. It is because of their hard work and dedication to this project that we were nominated for Best Narrative, Best Performance - Ashly Burch, Best RPG and Game of the Year at The Game Awards... For all those who voted for us - you are fantastic and we are so grateful for your support. The warm reception to The Outer Worlds has been incredible, and just to be nominated means a lot. However, the journey is not over yet, as we are excited to announce that we will be expanding the story through DLC next year! Detailed information will be provided later,” wrote Obsidian Entertainment’s social media manager.

The fact that there would be an addition to The Outer Worlds was hinted at by the remaining unvisited planets after the passage. However, given the game's plot, it's hard to guess what this DLC will be about.
