6 years after the introduction of the Raspberry Pi Zero, the next generation of single-board in this format, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, was announced. Compared to the previous model, similar in characteristics to the Raspberry Pi B, but with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules, this model is based on the Broadcom BCM2710A1 chip, the same as on the Raspberry Pi 3. In terms of form factor, the new board can be a direct replacement for the Pi Zero, while its declared speed is 5 times higher.
