The next release of Radix Cross Linux 1.9.383

Radix cross Linux 1.9.383 is available for devices based on ARM/ARM64, RISC-V and x86/x86_64 architectures.

This release contains updated versions of the Chromium, Firefox, Libreoffice, and nmap packages. The assembly for the TF307 v4 board (based on Baikal M1000) has been transferred to the Linux kernel version 6.1.63.

The Radix cross Linux distribution is not a "based on" development. Everything, from tools to ready-made boot images, is prepared independently from open source codes using cross-compilers. The devices on which the system runs are selected based on the availability of free drivers and bootloaders, as well as the ability to purchase the target equipment in Russia.

Software whose authors did not provide the possibility of cross-assembly is not included in the system.

Basically, the distribution is intended for engineers who use single-board computers at work or as a hobby, for example, to organize a home network.

Images are prepared for such devices as: Repka pi3, Orange pi5, Leez-p710, TF307 v4 boards based on Baikal M1000, VisionFive2, EBOX-3350dx2, as well as for i686 and x86_64 machines.

Boot images contain a local package repository and therefore system installation does not require an Internet connection.

Instructions for installing or using images in Live mode can be found in the section Install Instructions: https://radix.pro/platform/install/

Instructions for downloading and burning images to an SD card or external drive are available in the section Download: https://radix.pro/platform/download/

The issue is located in the appropriate subdirectories at: https://ftp.radix.pro/radix/system/releases/1.9.383/

Torrent files are available for users who have a low network connection speed.
