The Hardkernel team has released the ODROID-N2 Plus developer board, which can be used to implement various projects in the field of IoT, robotics, and more.
The solution is based on the Amlogic S922X Rev.C processor. Its six compute cores are big.LITTLE, with four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at up to 2,4GHz and two Cortex-A53 cores clocked at up to 2,0GHz. The chip includes a graphics accelerator Mali-G52 GPU with a frequency of 846 MHz.
A single board computer can carry 2 or 4 GB of DDR4 RAM on board. An eMMC flash module and a microSD card can be used for data storage.
The novelty has dimensions of only 90 Γ 90 mm (100 Γ 91 Γ 18,75 mm with a cooling radiator). The HDMI 2.0 interface is used for image output. There are four USB 3.0 ports, a Micro-USB connector and an RJ45 network cable jack (there is a Gigabit Ethernet controller).
The device can run Android or Ubuntu 18.04/20.04 operating system, as well as other platforms with a Linux kernel. The price is from 63 US dollars.
