OnePlus 7 Pro Official: HDR10+ Certified Display and UFS 3.0 Storage

OnePlus has previously confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro has an A+ rating from DisplayMate and the screen has passed VDE eye-safe certification. Now, the company has confirmed that the display is also officially HDR10+ certified, giving users a more dynamic, detailed and richer viewing experience when viewing compatible content. The company has also partnered with popular video streaming websites YouTube and Netflix to view content in HDR10.

The executive also confirmed that the OnePlus 7 series will include a UFS 3.0 flash drive that delivers read speeds of up to 2100MB/s, double that of eUFS (eUFS 2.1) chips. This guarantees fast loading of applications, accelerates the performance of image and video capture, reduces download time, and so on. The company has already hinted that the OnePlus 7 series will offer a faster and smoother experience.


OnePlus recently confirmed that the OnePlus 7 Pro will have day-to-day waterproofing but won't receive any IP certifications. The company has already begun accepting pre-orders on Amazon.in and is offering a 6-month free one-time screen replacement warranty as a bonus. The launch of the OnePlus 7 series is expected on the night of May 14 - the broadcast can be seen on the official YouTube channel.
