Official: Samsung Galaxy J smartphones are a thing of the past

Rumors that Samsung may abandon low-cost smartphones of the Galaxy J-Series family appeared back in September last year. Then it was reported that affordable Galaxy A smartphones would be produced instead of the devices of the named series. Now this information was confirmed by the South Korean giant itself.

A promotional video has appeared on YouTube (see below) published by Samsung Malaysia. It is dedicated to mid-range smartphones Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, which can be found in our material.

The video, among other things, says that the devices of the Galaxy J family have joined the new Galaxy A series. In other words, the Galaxy J series is becoming a thing of the past: now, instead of such devices, relatively inexpensive smartphones of the Galaxy A family will be offered.

We add that, in addition to the mentioned Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 models, four other devices are already presented in the Galaxy A series. These are Galaxy A10, Galaxy A20, Galaxy A40 and Galaxy A70 smartphones.

Well, in the very near future - April 10 - the presentation of the productive Galaxy A90 is expected, which is credited with having a unique rotating camera.
