Realme X official image confirms pop-up front camera

The presentation of the Realme X smartphone will take place this week as part of an event that will be held in China. The upcoming event forces developers to share details about the smartphone, fueling interest in the new product.

Previously, data appeared regarding some of the technical parameters of the device, and now the developer has published the official image of the gadget, which fully reveals the design of the novelty. In addition, the image demonstrates the presence of a retractable module that houses the front camera of the device.

The image below shows the Realme X in blue and white color options. It also becomes obvious that the novelty will receive a fingerprint scanner integrated into the display area. Not so long ago, developers confirmedthat the smartphone will be equipped with a new generation optical fingerprint scanner, the recognition area of ​​​​which is 44% higher. It is also worth mentioning that the presence of a retractable front camera allows you to abandon the recesses in the display, thereby increasing the ratio of screen area to the front surface. The main camera of the device is formed from 48 megapixel and 5 megapixel sensors. As for the front camera, it is based on a 16-megapixel sensor.

It is already known that the Realme X will come with a 6,5-inch AMOLED display that has a resolution of 2340Γ—1080 pixels. Responsible for the performance of the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chip, supplemented by 4 GB of RAM. It is expected that a 3700 mAh battery with support for VOOC 3.0 fast charging technology will be used as a power source. The hardware components are controlled by the Android 9.0 (Pie) mobile OS with the ColorOS 6.0 proprietary interface.

The official announcement of the smartphone will take place on May 15. The scheduled event will reveal the device's exact specs, retail price, and shipping start date.
