By XNUMX pm Moscow time, Comodo seemed to have noticed the hack and the redirect was promptly removed, but the forum is still down, and there is a message about ongoing maintenance at its address. The security experts at Comodo are probably currently busy investigating the incident and figuring out exactly how the hacker managed to gain access to their forum. It is worth noting that, as a rule, companies use ready-made solutions for deploying forums from third-party vendors and rarely modify anything other than the design, so it would be incorrect to talk about Comodo's inability to protect its own website, but, nevertheless, hacking the resource owned by a company specializing in information security is always a high-profile event.
