HongMeng OS official website turned out to be fake

Some time ago it became known that an official website dedicated to the Huawei HongMeng OS operating system had appeared on the Internet. It contained various information, including technical characteristics of the platform, news, etc.

Initially, many people thought that the site looked strange. It contained outdated information and had a rather informal visual design. The domain name used (hmxt.org), the style of presentation of information, and much more raised questions. As a result, some journalists made official inquiries to Huawei regarding the ownership of this resource.

Thus, it was possible to receive an official response from Huawei representatives, which stated that the previously mentioned resource is not the official page of HongMeng OS. In addition, an unnamed company employee said that the information about the imminent release of the Huawei operating system is not valid.

Let's remember that earlier the CEO of Huawei's consumer division, Yu Chengdong, said that the official release of the HongMeng operating system could take place as early as this fall. However, later information appeared that the company does not yet have an exact launch date for the OS on the consumer market.
