The company is also currently working on "smart" TVs, or as OnePlus calls them, smart displays, Luo said. The OnePlus executive made it clear that such panels will be endowed with artificial intelligence, which will allow them to adapt to users.
Pete Lo also noted that the company will not rush to release flexible smartphones. And the problem is not only the high cost of such devices. According to the head of OnePlus, flexible screens in smartphones do not offer any fundamental advantages over conventional displays. Such panels, as was said, have potential, but not in smartphones and not now.
Finally, Pete Lo noted that the company is eyeing the automotive electronics market. In addition, OnePlus may launch some office products based on 5G technologies and artificial intelligence.
