At the same time, ONLYOFFICE DesktopEditors 7.5 was released, built on a common code base with online editors. Desktop editors are desktop applications written in JavaScript using web technologies. They combine client and server components designed for autonomous use on the user's local system without recourse to an external service. The Nextcloud Hub platform is also supported for collaboration on your own resources.

ONLYOFFICE promises full compatibility with MS Office and OpenDocument formats, including support for DOC, DOCX, ODT, RTF, TXT, PDF, HTML, EPUB, XPS, DjVu, XLS, XLSX, ODS, CSV, PPT, PPTX, ODP formats. It is possible to expand the functionality of editors through plugins, for example, plugins are available for creating templates and adding videos from YouTube.
