OpenBSD version 6.5 has been released. Here are the changes in the system:
1. Added support for new devices:
- 1. The clang compiler is now available on mips64
- 2. Added support for OCTEON GPIO controller.
- 3. Added driver for paravirtual clock in KVM virtualization system.
- 4. Support for Intel Ethernet 4 series has been added to the ix(700) driver.
2. Changes in the network subsystem:
- 1. Added support for the PBB(PBE) protocol.
- 2. Added driver, MPLS-IP L2.
- 3. Also for MPLS interfaces, the ability to configure routing domains other than the main one has been added.
3. The following software is available:
- 1. OpenSSH up to 8.0
- 2. GCC 4.9.4 and 8.3.0
- 3. Go 1.12.1
- 4. Lua 5.1.5, 5.2.4 and 5.3.5
- 5. Suricata 4.1.3
- 6. Node.js 10.15.0
- 7. Mono 5.18.1.0
- 8. MariaDB 10.0.38
