OpenOrienteering Mapper 0.9.0 - program for drawing sports maps

OpenOrienteering Mapper is a free program for drawing and printing sports and other types of maps. The program is essentially a cross-platform cartographic publishing system with the functionality of a graphic vector WYSIWYG editor and a desktop GIS.

The program has a desktop (Linux, MacOS, Windows) and mobile (Android, Android x86) versions. At the moment, the use of the mobile version is recommended for the initial stages of mapping and topographic survey on the ground, and responsible cartographic work and preparation for printing are recommended to be performed using the desktop version.

OpenOrienteering Mapper v0.9.0 is the first stable release of the 0.9.x branch with a huge number of innovations and changes, which includes a new character set corresponding to the international specification for sports cards IOF ISOM 2017-2.

In addition, less noticeable, but no less significant, is the initial stage of the process of integrating autotests for MacOS, Linux и Windows service based Azure Pipelines from Microsoftwhich, together with the use Open Build Service for Linux, now allows you to create all release packages in automatic mode. This will greatly increase the ability to release regular releases with confidence in build quality.
