- mt76: update from 2025-09-15 to 2025-11-06.
- wireless-regdb: update from 2025.07.10 to 2025.10.07.
Update to version 24.10
To upgrade from 23.05 to 24.10, you can use Sysupgrade, which will preserve your settings in most cases. Upgrades within the 24.10 stable series are also supported. Attended Sysupgrade, which allows you to save installed packages.
- Sysupgrade from version 22.03 to 24.10 is not officially supported.
- For the ipq806x (Qualcomm Atheros) platform there is no configuration migration path as there has been a transition to DSAUpdate without saving settings.
- Linksys E8450 / Belkin RT3200: Users on version 23.05 and below must use the installer v1.1.3 or newer to reorganize UBI partitions. Updating without the installer will brick the device. Details in Wiki
- Xiaomi AX3200 / Redmi AX6S: On version 23.05 and below you need to follow special procedure from Wiki To increase available memory. Updating without this guide will render the device inoperable.
- Zyxel GS1900 Series Switches: Due to partition layout changes, a clean installation (factory install) using the initramfs image is required. Sysupgrade is not possible. After the upgrade, do not restore the /etc/config/system file from a backup.
Known Issues
- LEDs for the Airoha AN8855 are not yet supported. On devices like the Xiaomi AX3000T, the switch LEDs will be disabled. A fix is ββexpected in upcoming SNAPSHOT builds and the minor release 24.10.
- 5 GHz Wi-Fi doesn't work on some devices with ATH10K chipsets (e.g., Phicomm K2T, TP-Link Archer C60 v3). For more details, see the ticket. #14541.
