Huawei plans to host the Worldwide Developers Conference (HDC) in China. The event is scheduled for August 9, and it looks like the telecommunications giant is planning to introduce its own operating system, HongMeng OS, at the event. Reports of this appeared in the Chinese media, which are confident that the launch of the software platform will take place at the conference. This news should not be considered unexpected, since the head of the consumer division of the company Richard Yu (Richard Yu) in May of this year said that Huawei's own OS could appear on the Chinese market in the fall.
The Huawei Worldwide Developers Conference is an important event for the Chinese vendor. According to some reports, more than 1500 partners of the company, as well as about 5000 developers from around the world, will take part in the event.
