A week ago, we already talked about the OPPO K3 smartphone with a retractable front camera. Then the model in the database of the Chinese regulator TENAA, as well as on the Web, detailed characteristics of the upcoming novelty were included. Now we have official information about this device. The day before, the manufacturer published on its Weibo page the first press render of the K3, and also confirmed a number of its key specifications.
According to the company, OPPO K3 will receive a 6,5-inch AMOLED display, which will occupy 91,1% of the front surface of the case and have Full HD+ resolution. The 16-megapixel selfie module will extend from the top end in 0,74 seconds, while its mechanism is designed for at least 200 open / close cycles.
The rear camera, according to preliminary information, consists of a main 16-megapixel and an additional 2-megapixel modules. The hardware platform of the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 single-chip system, and the amount of LPDDR4x RAM is 6 GB. The built-in flash drive UFS 2.1 in the maximum configuration is promised a capacity of 128 GB.
The first image clearly shows that the OPPO K3 has a gradient back panel. The second picture indicates the presence of a fingerprint scanner built into the display, a USB Type-C port, and a 3,5mm audio jack for headphones. The date of the official announcement of the smartphone is May 23, 2019, that is, next Thursday. The model will go on sale in three colors - purple, green and white.
