The website of the State Intellectual Property Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNIPA) has published information about a new OPPO smartphone with a very unusual design.
The LetsGoDigital resource, in partnership with Concept Creator, presented conceptual renderings of the device, created on the basis of patent documentation.
As you can see in the images, we are talking about a device with a removable electronic control pen. It will be fixed at the top of the smartphone, inserting the tip into a special protruding module.
The pen will receive support for Bluetooth wireless communication for exchanging data with a cellular device. Moreover, thanks to the presence of a microphone and other necessary components, the stylus can perform the functions of a telephone headset.
On the body of the pen and smartphone, special contacts are visible for recharging the stylus battery. In addition, the pen is equipped with two control buttons.
As for the smartphone itself, it will have a frameless design. The pen tip module will house the front camera and other sensors.
There is no information about the possible timing of the appearance of a device with the described design on the market.
