The camera is equipped with a seven-element lens and can adjust the focal length from 85mm to 135mm. The aperture can change from f/3.3 to f/4.4 at maximum magnification. Movement and positioning, autofocus and optical image stabilization will be controlled by a new 16-bit high-precision driver IC.

It is worth noting that the company presented not only a "naked" lens. OPPO has worked hard on the sensor and image processing algorithms. The sensor has a resolution of 32 megapixels and a Quad Bayer filter. With image overlay, the camera can operate with hybrid zoom up to 280mm. When using a 26mm lens, the module offers 5,2x optical zoom and 11x hybrid zoom.

A device that could be the first smartphone with this camera was featured on the TENAA website last month. The smartphone, which is likely to be part of the Reno series, will boast a 6,5-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, support for 5G and a 3945-mAh battery. As a reminder, OPPO is rumored to be working on 125W fast charging, which is also intended for future flagships.
