OPPO introduced an update to the A-series for the Russian market - OPPO A5s and A1k smartphones with a teardrop-shaped screen cutout and powerful batteries with a capacity of 4230 and 4000 mAh, respectively, providing up to 17 hours of active work offline.
OPPO A5s is equipped with a 6,2-inch HD+ (1520 Γ 720 pixels) In-Cell screen with an 89,35% front panel area-to-surface ratio.
The smartphone is based on the eight-core MediaTek Helio P35 (MT6765) processor with a clock speed of up to 2,3 GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics controller. The waterdrop notch houses an 8-megapixel camera with f/2,0 aperture and AI support, as well as a light sensor and a speaker.
The dual main camera (13 + 3 MP) with aperture f / 2,2 + f / 2,4, respectively, provides a bokeh effect when shooting a portrait. Multi-frame optical image stabilization technology is responsible for smooth video shooting. The amount of RAM of the smartphone is up to 4 GB, the capacity of the flash drive is up to 64 GB, there is support for memory cards up to 256 GB. Thanks to a powerful battery, the smartphone provides up to 13 hours of video playback offline.
Unlocking the device is carried out using a fingerprint scanner located on the back of the case. Thanks to the use of 5D thermoforming technology in the manufacture of the OPPO A3s case, its thickness is only 82 mm. Case colors are black, blue and red.
The OPPO A1k model received a 6,1-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 19,5: 9 and HD + resolution, protected from damage by durable Corning Gorilla Glass. The use of a waterdrop notch for the front camera, ambient light sensor and speaker made it possible to achieve a screen-to-body surface ratio of 87,43%.
The AI-enabled front camera with f/2,0 aperture is 8MP. The dual main camera of the smartphone uses 13 and 3 megapixel modules.
The OPPO A1k is equipped with a Mediatek Helio P22 (MTK6762) octa-core processor clocked at up to 2,0GHz and an IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics controller paired with 2GB of RAM and a 32GB flash drive. The device can be used in active mode up to 17 hours without recharging. Case color is black and red.
Both models run ColorOS 6 based on Android 9.0 Pie.
OPPO A5s with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of flash memory will go on sale in May at a price of 11 rubles. The cost of OPPO A990k with 1 GB of RAM and a flash drive with a capacity of 2 GB will be 32 rubles.
