The new brand Reno, created by the Chinese company OPPO, introduced a productive smartphone called Reno Standard Edition: sales of the device will begin on April 16.

The device received a 6,4-inch AMOLED screen. The panel used is Full HD + with a resolution of 2340 Γ— 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19,5: 9. Provides 97 percent coverage of the NTSC color space, and the brightness reaches 430 cd / m2. Corning Gorilla Glass 6 is responsible for protection.

The front camera is made in the form of a retractable block, in which one of the side parts rises. This module contains a 16-megapixel sensor, flash and wide-angle optics (79,3 degrees).

There is a dual camera setup on the back with a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor (f/1,7) and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2,4). Of course, there is a flash.

The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor, which combines eight 64-bit Kryo 360 cores with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and an Adreno 616 graphics accelerator.

The novelty has a fingerprint scanner in the display area, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2,4 / 5 GHz) and Bluetooth 5 wireless adapters, a GPS / GLONASS receiver, an NFC module, and a USB Type-C port. Dimensions are 156,6 Γ— 74,3 Γ— 9,0 mm, weight - 185 grams. Battery capacity - 3765 mAh.

The smartphone is available in green, pink, magenta and black versions. The operating system is ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9.0 (Pie). Prices look like this:

  • 6 GB RAM and 128 GB flash drive - $450;

  • 8 GB RAM and 256 GB flash drive - $540.
