Last weekend, October 21-22, the final of the system programming competition for Linux-based operating systems took place at SberUniversity. The competition is designed to popularize the use and development of open system components, which are the basis for operating systems based on GNU and Linux Kernel components. The competition was held using the OpenScaler Linux distribution.
The competition was organized by the Russian software developer SberTech (digital cloud platform Platform V), the ANO Center for Development of Innovative Technologies IT Planet and the Russian open developer community OpenScaler. The competition was held with the support of the SkalaR company, a developer and manufacturer of a modular platform for high-load information systems. The company acts as a technology contributor to the corporate IT infrastructure market and supports initiatives that help strengthen human resources and innovative development of the country.
In total, more than 1200 certified specialists and students from Russia over 18 years of age registered to participate in the competition. During the qualifying stages, participants tested their theoretical and practical knowledge in system programming for operating systems based on the OpenScaler Linux distribution. 15 participants who showed the best results in the qualifying stages were invited to the finals of the competition.
The final took place in person over two days. The finalists solved system programming problems.
The winners are:
1st place - Kirillov Grigory Evgenievich, Baltic State Technical University "VOENMEH" named after. D.F. Ustinova, St. Petersburg.
2nd place - Atnaguzin Kirill Andreevich, Mari Radio Mechanical College, Republic of Mari El.
3rd place - Konstantin Vladislavovich Semichastnov, National Research University "Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology", Moscow.
The winners received cash prizes, and all participants received certificates, branded souvenirs and a unique experience of communication with experts and each other.
