On September 27, 2019, in a blog post, Oracle announced the planned support dates for Java SE and Solaris. The Java SE 8 branch will be supported until March 2025, and Java SE 11 until September 2026.
Oracle also noted that these dates are not final and support may last until 2030. Maintenance of these Java SE branches is required to comply with Oracle Applications Unlimited obligations.
Basic update support for Solaris 11 will continue until 2031. As part of the Oracle Extended Support program, updates for Solaris 11 will be released until 2034.
