HTC announced at its annual Vive Ecosystem Conference in Shenzhen on Monday that it will launch the Vive Focus Plus VR headset aimed at professional users and developers.
Announced in February this year, the novelty is positioned as a single hardware device for corporate clients.
Starting April 15, the self-contained VR headset will be available in 25 markets via the Vive website for $799. The Vive website will initially support 19 languages.
The new model is $200 more expensive than the enterprise version of the original Vive Focus VR headset, but HTC is clearly betting that the Plus model's increased performance will be critical for demanding users.
