The system of enterprise resource planning, business process management and organization of interaction with clients has been transferred to the category of free software . The code is written in Java and licensed under GPLv3. Opening the code is designed to simplify the distribution of solutions, as well as the interaction of customers with contractors. In the near future, the main developer of the project will work on it full time.
The project was originally developed for large enterprises, with a focus on high performance, flexibility and scalability. BGERP has several dozen implementations, the largest of which process databases of millions of processes and hundreds of thousands of counterparties. The application is built according to a three-tier scheme: Web interface (HTML + CSS + JS), server (Java + JSP) and MySQL DBMS. Configuration languages: Java + JEXL.
The development scheme is based on GIT branches, transferred at the end of the implementation cycle, documentation and testing in the form of patches to the main branch. Upstream releases are published continuously as patches arrive. Open for discussion and questions .
