Registration for the LVEE 2020 Online Edition conference is open

Registration for the international conference of developers and users of free software "Linux Vacation/Eastern Europewhich will be held August 27-30. This year's conference will be held online and will take four days. Participation in the online version of LVEE 2020 is free.

Proposals for reports and blitz reports are accepted. To apply for participation, you need to register on the conference website: lvee.org. After registration, the participant gets access to the online system for reviewing abstracts, where you can submit an application for a paper until August 24, 2020. All abstracts of reports are reviewed. Blitz reports do not require a preliminary application and are registered on the day of the session of blitz reports.

Since 2005, LVEE has annually attracted participants from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and the countries of the European Union. The conference offers free software enthusiasts and professionals a platform to meet and exchange ideas in a friendly, informal setting at the largest free software event in the Republic of Belarus. The official languages ​​of the conference are Russian, Belarusian and English.

The format of the conference includes mainly reports and short speeches; round tables, workshops and code sprints are also possible. The topics of the reports include the development and maintenance of free software, the implementation and administration of solutions based on free technologies, and the specifics of using free licenses. The conference covers a wide range of platforms - from workstations and servers to embedded systems and mobile devices. It is recommended that you read the Code of Conduct before attending the conference; all participants must abide by this code so that the conference runs in a spirit of respect for each other.
