Studio Spiders released the second part of the GreedFall development diaries - most ambitious role play. New details were shared by lead screensaver artist Camille Lallement and screenwriter Jehanne Rousseau. Representatives of the company told more about the island of Tir Fradee, where the main passage will take place, game factions, the concept of tasks and building relationships between the main character and the NPC.

According to the developers, GreedFall will have to deal with different factions. Their interests are very different, many are at enmity with each other. For example, colonists use the lands of Tir Fradee for enrichment, which angers the indigenous population. The permanent inhabitants of the island believe that their land is sacred, they have their own language - created by the Spiders studio with the help of a professional linguist - and mythology associated with specific events or occurrences on the island. Among other factions, the authors mentioned religious fanatics and scientists looking for a cure for the plague, which tears apart port of Sirene.

The protagonist belongs to a clan called The Congregation. This is an ancient organization that acts as an intermediary between different peoples. That is why the protagonist will be able to independently choose how to deal with a particular faction. Freedom of action will be in relations with NPCs. No one will stop you from having novels with non-player characters, betraying, making friends or openly hostile. The player will be able to take with him on missions companions who have their own reputation. They also affect relations with specific factions.

The developers claim that all actions have their consequences, and the decisions made can backfire even after a few hours. This creates the prerequisites for re-passing.

GreedFall will release on September 10, 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The game is published by Focus Home Interactive.
