More and more manufacturers are implementing the front camera by using a retractable module, which allows it to be hidden in the body. Images have appeared on the Internet indicating that Huawei intends to release a smartphone with a retractable front camera. According to online sources, the Chinese company is preparing the P Smart Z smartphone, which will join the segment of affordable devices.

The gadget will receive a display without cutouts with a small frame at the bottom. The main camera of the device is formed from a pair of sensors placed above the LED flash. The pictures show that the physical buttons for volume control and turning on the device are located on the right side surface.    

The message says that the new product will receive a 6,59-inch display with a resolution of 2340 Γ— 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19,5:9. The front camera is based on a 16-megapixel sensor. The main camera of the gadget is a combination of 16 MP and 2 MP sensors.

The hardware basis of the new product will be the proprietary HiSilicon Kirin 710 chip with eight computing cores. The device will receive 4 GB of RAM, as well as an internal storage of 64 GB. If necessary, the disk space can be expanded by connecting a memory card with a capacity of up to 512 GB. Autonomous operation is provided by a 4000 mAh battery. To control the hardware, the Android 9.0 Pie mobile OS with the proprietary EMUI 9 interface is used.

The device has dimensions of 163,5 Γ— 77,3 Γ— 8,9 mm and weighs 197 g. Available images indicate that the device will be available in several body colors. The first Huawei smartphone with a pop-up camera is expected to cost around 210 euros. The possible timing of the upcoming announcement of the new product is still unknown.
