Panasonic has unveiled a curious system called Hitokoe that will help forgetful people always take the right things when they leave the house.

The solution was created by Panasonic and its idea incubator Game Changer Catapult. The system is based on the use of RFID tags, which can be attached to certain things, say, to a phone, wallet, keychain or umbrella.

By scanning the QR code on the tag, the user will be able to register each item in the companion app on their smartphone. A Hitokoe control panel is mounted near the exit from an apartment or house. As soon as a person is about to leave the home without an important item, he immediately receives a notification.

It is curious that the objects are divided into three categories: for every day, needed on certain days, needed under certain weather conditions. For each of them, you can set a specific scenario. Thus, the reminders for the sports uniform will be issued only on training days, and for the umbrella only on rainy days.

In the future, the system is planned to be connected via the Internet to the traffic congestion monitoring platform in order to inform about possible delays on the way. In addition, Hitokoe will be able to track the status of home appliances.
