International Data Corporation (IDC) has published a fresh forecast for the global market for information security products and services.
The pandemic has led many organizations to move their employees to work remotely. In addition, the demand for remote learning platforms has skyrocketed. Under such conditions, companies are forced to expand their IT infrastructures and introduce additional security measures.
According to IDC analysts, at the end of the current year, the total cost of hardware solutions, software and services in the field of information security will reach $125,2 billion. If these expectations are justified, the growth compared to 2019 will be 6,0%.
