Perfect World Entertainment has announced that it will partner with Panic Button to release action-RPG Torchlight II on current-gen consoles this fall. Specific platforms were not named.
Torchlight II was released on PC in September 2012. It's an action role-playing game with a procedurally generated world where you fight against hordes of enemies and look for treasures. There are four classes to choose from, as well as the gender of the character. βExplore the vast open world of Wilderan, and be sure to stop by one of the many cities along the way. Rain, snow, day or night - your heroes are always ready for battle! The random generation of levels will not let you get bored: each passage will be unique, βthe description says.
In addition, Torchlight II has useful pets that can sell loot for you in the city. The game also includes a New Game+ mode to replay the main campaign on a higher difficulty level while keeping the current equipment, gold and items.
Details of the console versions of Torchlight II will be announced at a later date.
