More recently, the official presentation of the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 gaming smartphone with a 6,39-inch Full HD + screen, a Snapdragon 855 processor, 12 GB of RAM and a dual camera (48 million + 12 million pixels) took place. And now it is reported that the next generation gaming phone is being prepared for release.

The World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), according to the LetsGoDigital resource, has published patent documentation for the new design of the Black Shark series smartphones.

As you can see in the images, the third-generation Xiaomi gaming phone will receive a display with a cutout at the top. In this case, two versions are considered - with a drop-shaped recess and a rather large recess.

There are also two configurations for the back panel. One of them suggests the presence of a dual camera with a flash - like the current Black Shark 2.

In the second case, the use of a triple camera is provided. Presumably, it will include an additional sensor ToF (Time of Flight) to obtain data on the depth of the scene.

One way or another, while Xiaomi has not officially announced plans to release a third-generation Black Shark smartphone. So the proposed design is not necessarily embodied in a real device.
