Observers believe that the proposed solutions can be used in a device that will replace the Surface Pro 6 model. It is assumed that the novelty will enter the commercial market under the name Surface Pro 7.

So, it is reported that the tablet will be equipped with a symmetrical USB Type-C port. The width of the frames around the screen will decrease slightly compared to the previous generation gadget.

For new items, judging by the patent documentation, an improved cover with a Type Cover keyboard will be available. When using the gadget in tablet mode, it can be held in the back of the case due to magnetic mounts.
