The PC version of Oddworld: Soulstorm will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store. According to project developer Lorne Lanning, the studio needed additional funds to work, and Epic Games provided them in exchange for exclusive rights for the PC.

Oddworld: Soulstorm is a reimagining of the second part of the series - Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus, released in 1998. Players will get improved graphics and enhanced features. The release is scheduled for 2020. The game will also be released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Whether the PC version will become a permanent EGS exclusive or a temporary one is not specified.
