Many effects will still apply separately to each of them, but the chance of the user running out of play options will be significantly reduced. The authors also plan to reduce the entry threshold for beginners, so the project will no longer sell cards for real money. Thanks to this decision, players will not be able to build a powerful deck in the early stages.
Artifact 2.0 will get a new mode called Heroic Draft. Its main feature will be a simplified deck collection, but the developers did not provide more details. According to Valve, the studio is now in the phase of "defining everything that's boring." In the future, the authors plan to conduct closed and open beta testing, starting to increase the audience. Owners of the original game will be the first to get access to Artifact 2.0. Valve promised to share other details of the “beta” closer to the start of testing.
