Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke told what content awaits buyers of the pre-release version of the hotly anticipated role-playing game Baldur's Gate 3.
Baldur's Gate 3 will break into early access with the first act and five pre-made characters. After choosing one of them, the rest will be allowed to recruit as part of the passage:
- Will (Wyll) - man, sorcerer;
- Shadowheart - half-elf, priestess;
- Leyzel (Lae'zel) - githyanka, warrior;
- Gale (Gale) - a man, a wizard;
- Astarion (Astarion) - an elf (spawn of a vampire), a rogue.
Pre-built characters have established classes and backstories, but there will be an early version of the ability to create your own character. The choice will give six classes: warrior, wizard, rogue, ranger, priest and sorcerer.
Among the available races, in addition to the traditional fantasy people, gnomes and elves, more exotic ones are promised: githyanki, dark elves (they are also drow) and vampire spawn. The latter can bite into the necks of sleeping partners.
"If you look at , then you will understand that without going through early access, it would never have become so cool. So we want to give [Baldur's Gate 3] a similar experience," Vincke said.
The release of Baldur's Gate 3 in Early Access is expected in the first half of 2020. As part of PAX East, developers from Larian Studios demonstrated your role-playing adventure.
