First public release of JingOS

The first public release of the JingOS operating system focused on mobile devices took place, in particular JingPad C1, which is scheduled to begin mass production in July 2021.

The system is a fork of Ubuntu that comes with a fork of KDE that incorporates many of the qualities of the Apple iPad OS. It also develops its own set of stock applications such as calendar, app store, PIM, voice notes, and more.

System tested on Huawei Matebook 14 Touch Edition and Surface Pro 6; Any x86_64 device that supports Ubuntu should be expected to support JingOS.

Initial publication of the source code in public repository planned within six months.
