Philips has expanded its range with a new monitor called Momentum 345M1CR. Judging by the characteristics, the new product will be positioned as a monitor for gaming systems.
The new Philips monitor is built on a curved VA panel measuring 34 inches diagonally with an aspect ratio of 21:9. The resolution of the Momentum 345M1CR is 3440 × 1440 pixels, and the refresh rate reaches 144 Hz. Pixel response time is 4ms for gray-to-gray (GtG) and 1ms for moving picture (MPRT).
The panel used in the Momentum 345M1CR is characterized by a brightness of up to 300 cd/m2 and a static contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer claims 119% coverage of the sRGB color space, 100% NTSC and 90% Adobe RGB. Factory calibration is also noted, due to which the Delta E indicator is lower than two.
On the rear panel of the new product’s connectors there is DisplayPort 1.4, as well as a pair of HDMI 2.0. True, the latter can display images in the device’s standard resolution only at a frequency of up to 100 Hz.
There are also four USB 3.2 ports (most likely Gen 1), one of which supports fast charging of connected devices. The monitor stand allows you to adjust the height and angle.
Unfortunately, neither the price nor the start date of sales of the Philips Momentum 345M1CR monitor have been announced yet.
