Death Stranding reached 32 peak players on Steam on release day

Number of players in Death Stranding on Steam exceeded 32,5 thousand people on the day of release. About it сообщает Steam DB statistical service.

A sharp increase in players happened in the first few hours after the release. Along with this figure, the number of Death Stranding viewers on Twitch soared to 76 thousand people. At the time of writing, the figures have fallen to 20,6 thousand and 32,6 thousand people, respectively. 

Recall that the game was also released on the Epic Games Store, but the statistics of the platform are closed.

Death Stranding is the latest project from Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima. The game was released in November 2019 on PlayStation 4 and typed 82 on Metacritic. PC version of the project received higher marks - 86 points. In addition, project developers praised The PC version and stated that visually it is a head and shoulders above the console version.
