Zodiac Interactive and Palm Pioneer have announced that cyberpunk pixel adventure Tales of the Neon Sea will be released on PC on April 30th.
In Tales of the Neon Sea, players will see many puzzles and stories typical of the East, but this is only part of the world of the project. Tensions and mutual distrust have arisen between humans and robots, and gangsters are making insidious plans for how to climb to the top of the food chain.

“We grew up sci-fi lovers of classic anime and movies, with their own take on the enticing and terrifying cyberpunk future,” said producer Tian Chao. “At the same time, growing up in China during a prolonged economic boom has given many of us a sense of real life in such a world of tall skyscrapers and foggy neon streets! Even Denis Villeneuve, director of the recent Blade Runner sequel, referred to Beijing when making this film. It gives us a unique perspective to infiltrate a familiar vision of cyberpunk."
Tales of the Neon Sea is also in development for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, but no release date has been announced for those versions.
