The Pine64 community known for free laptops pine book и Pinebook Pro, announced the start of production of a new free smartphone on Plasma Mobile - pinephone. The first batch will be released at the end of 2019, but for now only for developers. Store sales will begin in March 2020.
In addition to Plasma Mobile, images of Maemo Leste, UBPorts, PostmarketOS, LuneOS are offered. Moreover, the community is working on adding NixOS, Nemo Mobile and SailfishOS images.
The OS can be installed directly from the SD card.
Approximate price - 149$ (but this may change).
