Developers from Invader Studios have decided on the release date for the horror action game Daymare: 1998 on PC: store release will take place on September 17.
The premiere was a little delayed because it was supposed to take place before the end of summer. However, the wait is not long, just a month. In the meantime, everyone can check out the demo version of the game, which is already available on Steam. Let us remind you that development is also underway for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, but these versions do not yet have a release date.
If Daymare: 1998 reminds you of the Resident Evil series, then this is not surprising. Invader Studios brought in ex-Capcom artist Satoshi Nakai, who worked on the design of Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil Code Veronica. Well, the producer is the head of development of Resident Evil 3: Nemesis and one of the creators of the original 1996 Resident Evil, Kazuhiro Aoyama.
“The action takes place at a secret research base with deadly chemical weapons and a special security team that will have to investigate an incident much more serious than just an illegal entry,” the project description says. “Be in the shoes of an elite fighter, helicopter pilot and forester and play your role in an event that will turn a peaceful town into a deadly zone, and its inhabitants into bloodthirsty monsters.”
