Huawei has announced the MediaPad M5 Lite 8 tablet, made on the Android 9.0 (Pie) software platform with a proprietary add-on EMUI 9.0.

The novelty received an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels. The front has an 8-megapixel camera with a maximum aperture of f/2,0. The rear camera uses a 13-megapixel sensor; maximum aperture - f / 2,2.

The “heart” of the gadget is the Kirin 710 processor. It combines eight computing cores: this is an ARM Cortex-A73 quartet with a clock speed of up to 2,2 GHz and an ARM Cortex-A53 quartet with a frequency of up to 1,7 GHz. Graphics processing is assigned to the ARM Mali-G51 MP4 controller.

The tablet's arsenal includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2 LE wireless adapters, a GPS receiver, a Harman Kardon audio system with stereo speakers, a 3,5mm headphone jack, and a microSD slot.
