Biostar has announced the FX9830M motherboard, which can be used as a home media center or desktop computer in a compact package.
The novelty is initially equipped with an AMD FX-9830P processor. The chip contains four processing cores clocked at 3,0 GHz and upgradable to 3,7 GHz.
The board is made in Micro ATX format: dimensions are 183 Γ 200 mm. There are two slots for DDR4-2400/2133/1866 RAM modules: up to 32 GB of RAM can be used in the system.
The integrated AMD Radeon R7 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. There is a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a discrete graphics card.
Four SATA 3.0 ports are available for connecting drives. In addition, there is an M.2 connector for the solid state module.
The equipment includes a Realtek RTL8111H gigabit network controller and an ALC887 7.1 audio codec. The interface panel has PS / 2 jacks for keyboard and mouse, HDMI and D-Sub connectors, two USB 3.2 and USB 2.0 ports, a network cable connector and an audio jack.
