Biostar introduced the Racing B450GT motherboard in Micro-ATX format: the solution is positioned as the basis for basic-level gaming systems and entertainment centers for smart homes.
The basis of the new product is the AMD B450 chipset. Work with AMD AM4 processors is supported: these are Ryzen APU chips of the Raven Ridge and Picasso generations, as well as Ryzen of the Summit Ridge, Pinnacle Ridge and Matisse families.
There are four connectors for DDR4-1866/2133/2400/2667/2933/3200(OC) RAM modules; It is possible to install up to 128 GB of RAM. There is one PCIe 2.0 x1, PCIe 2.0 x16 and PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for expansion cards.
The equipment includes two M.2 connectors for 2242/2260/2280 SSD solid-state modules with PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA interfaces. Four SATA 3.0 ports are available for connecting traditional drives.
The board carries on board a Realtek RTL8111H gigabit network controller and an ALC887 7.1 audio codec. On the panel with connectors you can find a PS/2 socket for a keyboard/mouse, four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and two USB 2.0 ports, DVI-D, D-Sub and HDMI interfaces for image output, a jack for a network cable and a set of audio jacks. The dimensions of the new product are 244 Γ 244 mm.
