Modiphius has announced plans to release a board game based on the action game Dishonored. About it on the manufacturer's website. Its release is scheduled for summer 2020.
The board game will be played on the 2d20 system using 20-sided dice. A hallmark of mechanics is the focus on narrative and story. The game will be accompanied by a special 300-page book, which contains turn-by-turn rules, stories, detailed descriptions of game mechanics, antagonists and much more.
It is reported that in order to fully comply with the canons, the company attracted the creative director of video games Harvey Smith (Harvey Smith). Modiphius has also worked with a number of writers and artists who worked on the project at Arkane Studios.
Dishonored is a series of first-person stealth action games with RPG elements. The latest franchise project was released in September 2017. The game received positive reviews from game critics and 82 on Metacritic.
