Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has revealed data on the volume of smartphone shipments in 2019: shipments of devices are growing, despite sanctions from the United States.
So, last year Huawei sold about 240 million smart phones, that is, almost a quarter of a billion units. This figure includes shipments of devices both under its own brand and under its subsidiary Honor brand.
In 2018, Huawei shipped approximately 206 million smartphones. Thus, over the year, demand for the companyβs cellular devices increased by approximately 17%.
Π Π°Π½Π΅Π΅ that in 2019, Huawei, together with Honor, shipped more than 6,9 million smartphones supporting fifth-generation mobile communications (5G). In this segment, the company was able to get ahead of the South Korean giant Samsung.
This year, sales of Huawei and Honor smartphones are likely to exceed the landmark mark of 250 million units. Moreover, the company more than 100 million devices with 5G support.
Let us add that Huawei, according to International Data Corporation (IDC), is the fastest growing smartphone supplier among the leading players in the global market.
